Mark was instrumental in elevating cleaning services at our La Jolla campus as part of our transformation strategy to elevate all services across facilities management in 2024. He specifically partnered with the JNJ team in developing and successfully implementing multiple processes under five months. The implementation of a comprehensive lab cleaning schedule led to consistent cleaning, better organization within the labs, a significant reduction in contamination risks, and immediately increased confidence among all our lab managers. For several years Mark reported to me at JNJ. He was easy to work with, provided good feedback and followed through on all tasks. Mark was the spearhead for implementation of a national Janitorial contract. Mark partnered with the Janitorial service contractor to standardize basic service across multiple sites as well as customize service to specific site requirements such as GXP clean and controlled spaces.
