For several years Mark reported to me at JNJ. He was easy to work with, provided good feedback and followed through on all tasks. Mark was the spearhead for implementation of a national Janitorial contract. Mark partnered with the Janitorial service contractor to standardize basic service across multiple sites as well as customize service to specific site requirements such as GXP clean and controlled spaces. Mark worked with site leads to align expectations and provided feedback to the contractor. Marks efforts saved hundreds of thousands of dollars across the portfolio. In addition to Janitorial service, Mark coordinated light maintenance activities in the SF Bay Area. Mark's ability to work with teams, site leads and contractors and his uncanny ability to quickly identify root cause then implement solutions is unprecedented.

Worked with Mark in 2012 on a janitorial contractor change at the Mentor Site in Irving Texas. Mark is the Subject Matter Expert on Janitorial Services and his presence was assigned and needed as he is truly let his expertise show during this transition. He has many years experience on the subject and knows how to implement a new service into a company that does not have one or is replacing an existing service. Mark had to manage a number of changes both within the site and with the contractor, the transition went well. Mark brought his expertise to the site and moved the janitorial services forward in a very positive way. Mark supported this change remotely, via emails, conference calls and a visit here and there. Mark was very professional and was a good work partner throughout the entire transition.

I have worked with Mark more than seven years in facilities operations at LifeScan Milpitas CA site. During the years, Mark has proven him self to be a great leader and a contributor to the organization in many ways. I worked with Mark at Lifescan, a Johnson and Johnson company where he was a great asset running the Janitorial Services. When I left J&J for JSDU, I hired Mark as a consultant/ contractor. No matter what you asked, he got it done. He is inventive, always looking to drive down costs, and always worked well with everyone.
